On August 24, 2019 a Party of Communists USA Central Committee meeting was held, where the PCUSA Plan of Action 2019 was passed. The plan describes the direction of the Party until the next Central Committee meeting in early 2020. The purpose of this report is for PCUSA membership to have an answer to the question, “What is the PCUSA doing right now?”

The Plan of Action 2019 is as following:

b. Make a concerted effort to get working class comrades involved in trade unions, and to help all members find stable employment
c. Enforcing formal candidancy protocols; placing the proper comrades into a leadership position that fits them

2. Promoting Local Events
a. Share information of local events and activity to show what the Party is doing
b. Share on social media and other mass building outlets so that the Party’s work is seen more widely
c. Broadcasting nationally local events, such as the PCUSA Northwest Club’s table at the Veterans for Peace Convention, the PCUSA Texas’ Club college campus tabling, etc

3. Building Labor Today (Labor United for Class Struggle)
a. Educate union members on how to run for their executive board and leadership positions
b. Local participation in trade unions and Labor Councils

4. Continue Selfless and Dedicated Work

b. The Party and its membership have been making great strides forward in completely selfless work for the betterment of their communities

“There are those who struggle for a day and they are good. There are those who struggle for a year and they are better. There are those who struggle many years, and they are better still. But there are those who struggle all their lives: These are the indispensable ones.”

“Hay los que luchan un dia y son buenos. Hay otros que luchan un año y son mejores. Hay quienes luchan muchos años y son muy buenos. Pero hay los que luchan toda la vida: esos son los imprescindibles.”
